"I bought this motor after our current Atlas motor made some funny sounds. I thought it was about to bite the dust. It is almost 6 months later and the original motor is still going! I use the motor at work almost daily to sheet gumpaste and fondant pieces for cake decorating. My only complaint is that the end of the cord sticks out at a 90 degree angle. I have hit it multiple times and have managed to break the plastic piece that holds the socket..."
"I have been making pasta for many years and about 4 years ago I decided to treat myself to a motor for my Atlas machine which was only a few months old at the time (older machine went to grandkids for clay). Needless to say the 3 year warranty is up and last night I was making noodles and the large plastic gear inside the motor broke. Made by the Marcato family in Italy, the Pastadrive motor fits all Marcato pasta machines including the Atlas and Ampia models that bear the CE safety seal made after September 1998 (you can purchase an adaptor for earlier models). This motor converts a crank pasta machine into a 2 speed electric machine for ease of ues in rolling out your pasta. UL listed 110v 60 hz 100 watts. 3 year limited warranty.
